Home Health Aid Including Administering Medications
Home health aid including administering medications is providing personal care such us bathing, grooming, house keeping and medication management to clients in their homes with the supervision of a Registered nurse. We also offer CPR and first aid training.
Companion Care
Companionship care is a special service that we offer. It includes the following activities:
– Accompaniment on errands or to doctor appointments,
– Assistance with grocery shopping,
– Walking to get fresh air and exercise,
– Writing letters,
– Playing games,
– Reading aloud,
– Friendly conversation etc.
CMT Training Program
The Med-tech, CMT, or certified medication technician training program is a 20-hour program designed by MBON for persons who wish to administer medication in the home or in assisted living facilities under the delegation or supervision of a registered nurse. Students in this program will learn the role of the medication technician Safe medication administration, Medication uses, responses, interactions, and documentation. Observing, reporting, and recording physical and behavioral changes as it relates to medication administration and routes of administration.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy Services help patients to restore their independence and mobility. Our occupational therapists will assist you in:
– Patient re-education
– Home safety
– Engaging in recreational activities
– Patient assessment on energy management and conservation
– Assessment and evaluation of health and basic skills
– Planning and implementation of therapeutic programs
– Basic level skills education and training
– Device assistance training, and work simplification (laundry, meal preparation, bathing, grooming, eating, etc.)
